Spotlight of the Week

The bird is beautiful! The wings and tail feathers look especially fiddly. The dash of black among the white feathers was done very well When I saw the thumbnail, I didn't know that it was 3D origami hahaha

This piece captures the essence of Loki perfectly. The way he avoids looking directly at us plays up his part as the trickster. It also reminds me of his sneaky ways, seen in both The Avengers, Thor and in Norse mythology. His shoulder on the right (his left) seems a bit stretched out though. But I love the background.

Special Feature

Special feature goes to He does wonderful photography and I love his 2013 calendar:
of which he has made many.
All the photos of castles and forests remind of a fantasy world, like in A Game of Thrones.
