The instructions I found for this were very vague... THANK YOU TO THE LARGE NUMBER OF PEOPLE WHO HELPED ME!!! The end result is about 500 modules, but 700 were created because I'm terrible at this and glued them wrong and had to throw them away because they couldn't be saved. This took 3 weeks (it was figuring out how to put them together that took so long) I had pulled it apart and reassembled this 10 times. Ten times...
Great big to Emma, a year 11, who TOLD me how the swan fits together, you're my honorary buddy~~~
Thank you to the people who helped in the creation of the swan: who helped to fold the modules and put it together (9th time) even though we were doing it wrong. Also, thanks to Isaac (who used up all the strips I was going to fold), for helping with photography and keeping me company when I was working on this by myself...also for the use of his locker And Annie (who actually found folding the modules fun). Thanks too, to my librarian buddies (Calista and Petra) who helped to fold some modules.
Special thanks to Mum, who believed I could do it, even when Dad didn't. She helped to make the modules even though her eye sight is poor.
Oh, and not to mention the teachers who supplied me with paper: Ms Shanley (who has tonnes of paper...) Mr Roberts (even though he didn't know I took his scrap paper) - also, he put up with the paper-folding.... as did Ms Briggs... The library (again, I just helped myself to the paper in the recycling bin...)
Woohoo~!
So many people on my credits list, I missed out some I think...
I tried that, and it fell off....
My form-teacher took my swan when I said I had to throw it away (because it was wet and would've gotten mouldy)
